The American actress, model and singer has been awarded with the CFDA’s Fashion Icon award
Zendaya will be awarded for her impact and repercussion within the world of fashion as the CFDA itself confirmed. The gala will take place in New York on November 10th.
The actress who has already become a true fashion milestone for the younger generations now claims to be the youngest figure to win this award. Zendaya quickly took off in the world of fashion by 2013, when she already launched her first clothing line, popularly known as ‘Data by Zendaya’.
She accumulates millions of followers, collaborations in magazines and contracts with the most prestigious fashion brands. During her career, Zendaya has supported both the leading firms and those who have just come out of the oven, for which the image of the actress has become a true springboard to success. In addition, she has worked with brands such as Tommy Hilfige with whom she collaborated on the ‘Tommy x Zendaya’ collection or with luxury brands such as Lancôme, Valentino o Bulgari.
The CFDA also revealed the name of Anya Taylor-Joy, lead actress of the series ‘The Queen’s gambit’, who will receive the Face of the year award. Among the other special awards that the CFDA will present are the Founder’s award, the Media Award, the Enviromental sustabinatility award and the Achievement award among many others.
